Google - Why Can't I see my ad on Google?
Google ads are a little different from other ads because most of your traffic/results will come from customer searches. In order to show you a preview, we would have to search for the right terms and spend your budget dollars taking away from reaching consumers with your ad. This is why we provide proofs of the real ads rather than the live ads themselves.
You do have to be considered a targeted audience for the ad to populate.
With regards to the targeting, all of our advertisements are targeted based on 2 factors:
- Their Location. We start the targeting at the property, and the targeting expands outwards to reach users in the surrounding area. The size of the radius for this targeting depends on A. How densely populated the area is (more sparsely populated = larger radius), and B. How much budget you allocate to your ad. The more you spend on a particular network, the more users are targeted, which also expands the geographic radius.
- Their interest in Real Estate purchasing or selling. This is determined by the users' browser histories, as captured by the respective network you have purchased your advertisement for. Another advantage to using Homesnap over traditional advertising is our proprietary "re-balancer" which allows our users to forgo having to find market data for demographics, or experiment with many different ads in an attempt to reach the target market that is appropriately receptive to such a listing! As your ad runs - the ad will make a note of who is viewing, who is clicking, and who is submitting leads for this ad, and will start to form a picture of the ideal candidate and push the marketing towards those demographics!
You can always view these on your dashboard as well as see real time results on your dashboard.
